Some googling revealed that a James D. Slebiska, now 65 (at the time “Big Jim” gave this interview he was 23 - my age), is the District Vice President for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, and makes the 9th highest salary of all CJA union leaders (more than $200 grand). Three years after this article was published, his father died. I assume it’s all the same person. Who can say?
